Terms of Service

OneBoarding is a client onboarding portal for freelancers and agencies. It lets you create onboarding projects, invite clients, and guide them through a structured sequence of steps such as payment confirmation, requirements, brand assets, and content collection. The Service is currently in early access: features may change, be added, or be removed as we develop the product.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

Freelancers can invite clients to a project via an invitation link. Anyone with a valid, unexpired invitation link for a project can access that project’s onboarding portal. You are responsible for sharing invitation links only with the intended client. Invitation links expire automatically.

OneBoarding does not process payments. The payment step in an onboarding flow tracks whether a payment has been made outside the Service, using whatever payment method you and your client agree on. Any payment terms, invoices, refunds, and disputes are strictly between the freelancer and their client. We are not a party to that relationship and accept no liability arising from it.

You and your clients retain ownership of all content uploaded to the Service, including files, briefs, brand assets, and project details (“Content”). By uploading Content, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display it solely to provide the Service.

You are responsible for your Content, including having the rights needed to upload and share it. We may remove Content that violates these Terms.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent;
• upload malware or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, projects, or our infrastructure;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by circumventing usage limits or security measures;
• resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

The Service is currently free to use during early access. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will give existing users reasonable advance notice, and continued use of paid features after that notice will require a subscription.

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by OneBoarding and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the right to use it as intended.

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@oneboarding.app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your Content will be deleted within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that it will be error-free. As an early access product, downtime and breaking changes are possible — keep copies of any Content you cannot afford to lose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneBoarding will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (which, during free early access, may be zero).

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
